What is the evolutionary advantage of the human mind that is able to reflect on itself philosophically and scientifically? Isn’t the human mind overkill when it comes to procreation and propagation of the human species?
Actually does our advanced intellect actually present a potential danger to the survival of our species (contraception, environmental damage, weapons of mass destruction) and thus present an evolutionary disadvantage?
Have we actually past the peak of evolution and slid down the other side?
